Battlegrounds Minions
Every minion in the current Hearthstone Battlegrounds pool, grouped by tier. Filter by tribe — Beast, Demon, Dragon, Elemental, Mech, Murloc, Naga, Pirate, Quilboar, or Undead — to quickly find every minion relevant to your build. Tier 1–4 minions are your early-game engine; Tier 5–7 minions are your late-game power.
Buddies and Timewarped minions are in the game too, each behind its own filter above — neither can turn up in an ordinary shop roll. Stats reflect the current patch. Build a board with any of these →

(15)How tiers and tribes decide what you see
A minion's tavern tier is a gate, not a rating. It sets the earliest point the shop can offer you that minion, so upgrading the tavern is what widens the pool you are rolling through — and it is why a Tier 5 minion you want never shows up while you are sat on Tier 3.
Each lobby puts only five of the tribes in play and bans the rest entirely, so the same hero can want a different build from one game to the next. Filtering by tribe here shows you everything the game can offer rather than what any one lobby will, which is the right way to plan a build and the wrong way to predict a shop.
Minions FAQ
Where are the StarCraft minions?
None of the three StarCraft sets is a tribe, so no tribe filter will find them — each one belongs to a single hero instead. The 5 Protoss units are Artanis's and turn up in nobody else's shop, Kerrigan, Queen of Blades opens with a Larva that morphs into her 9 Zerg forms, and Jim Raynor's Terran Battlecruiser climbs upgrade steps that appear in no other game. Playing anyone else, you will never be offered them. See Artanis's Protoss units →
Why can't I buy a Tier 7 minion?
Tier 7 minions are not sold in the tavern — the tier exists above anything you can upgrade to. Of the 15 that exist, 13 are what Thorim, Stormlord's opening Discover picks from, and the other 2 only ever arrive from a trinket, which is why they are missing from Thorim's offer. See the Tier 7 minions Thorim can Discover →
What are Buddies, and why can't I get them?
Buddies are hero-specific minions from a mechanic that has since been retired. All 104 of them still exist, but E.T.C., Band Manager's hero power is now the only way to see one — which is why this list leaves them out unless you ask for them with the Buddy filter. See the whole Buddy pool by tier →
What is a Timewarped minion?
A Timewarped minion is a card pulled back from a past expansion for the Timewarped Tavern — an event phase hosted by Nozdormu where you spend a currency called Chronum instead of gold, opening as a Minor Timewarp on turn 6 and a Major Timewarp on turn 9. That tavern is not in the game at the moment: it was a seasonal mechanic and has rotated out, though these tend to come back around. The cards themselves are still reachable without it — Morchie draws on the Minor set at Tier 3 and Murozond, Unbounded on the Major set at Tier 5, and a few arrive from trinkets. They are listed on this page behind the Timewarped filter, kept out of the default view because the shop cannot offer you one. Browse the Timewarped minions →
How many tribes are in a lobby?
Five. Every game activates exactly five of the tribes and bans the rest for that lobby, so a build you have in mind may simply not be on the table — check which are in play before you commit to one. Two things sit outside that count and are in every lobby regardless: minions with no tribe at all, and the amalgams that count as every tribe at once. A minion belonging to two tribes only needs one of them to be active to show up in your shop.
Why has a minion disappeared from the game?
A minion that is no longer obtainable is archived rather than deleted: its page stays up so older guides and links still resolve, and it is labelled as not in the pool. A minion that can still be created by a hero power, a trinket or another minion is a separate case — it stays in this list even though the shop will never offer it to you.
