Terms of Service

By using Amalgadon ("the Service") — including the website at amalgadon.com and the Amalgadon Discord bot — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Amalgadon is a free tool for creating, annotating, and sharing Hearthstone Battlegrounds boards. It is a personal, fan-made project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or damage the Service or its underlying infrastructure
• Scrape or harvest data from the Service in a way that places unreasonable load on our servers
• Use the Discord bot to harass other users or spam Discord servers

We reserve the right to block access to the Service for any user or IP address that violates these terms or degrades the experience for others.

3. User-Generated Content

When you create a board and share it via a link, the board data (minion names, hero, notes, and title) is stored on our servers solely to make that share link work. You retain ownership of any notes or titles you write.

You agree not to include in board notes or titles any content that is illegal, hateful, defamatory, or that infringes third-party rights. We may remove any shared build that violates these terms without notice.

4. Discord Bot

The Amalgadon Discord bot ("the Bot") is available as an add-on to Discord servers. By adding the Bot to your server, you agree to these terms on behalf of your server and its users.

The Bot does not store messages, personal information, or Discord user data beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy. Rate limits are enforced to ensure fair usage for all servers.

5. Intellectual Property

Hearthstone, all card artwork, and related imagery are the property of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. Card data is sourced from HearthstoneJSON. Amalgadon uses this data and artwork purely for fan, non-commercial purposes under fair use principles.

The Amalgadon name, logo, and original site code are the property of the Amalgadon team.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided as-is and as-available, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific feature will remain available.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
