Quick heuristics for timing, board value, and when Aureate Laureate is worth committing to.

    Tip 1
    If you're playing APM pirates, don't pick it during discovers, and don't buy it when you're cycling - the battlecry animation will eat your turn timer.
  2. 2
    Tip 2
    Pop a Surfing Sylvar next to it for decent early tempo with the divine shield and buffed stats. Moreso if you get one from a tavern spell though - probably not worth buying from the shop.
