About Battlegrounds comps

A comp — short for composition — is the seven-minion board you are trying to finish the game with, together with the hero and trinkets that make it work. Most are built around a tribe, like Beasts or Elementals, or around a mechanic like Battlecries or Deathrattles. The boards above are real ones players shared; open any of them to see the full build, the notes behind it and how it has been voted.

What is the best Hearthstone Battlegrounds comp?
No comp is best in every lobby — which tribes are in, which hero you rolled and which trinkets you are offered decide more than the comp does. Sorting this page by most voted is the closest thing to a straight answer, because it surfaces the boards players have actually backed since the current patch.
How do I find a comp for the minion I keep hitting?
Use browse by minions in the sidebar. Pick one minion or several, and the list narrows to the comps that run all of them — more useful than a tier list when you already have a card and no plan for it.
Are these Battlegrounds comps up to date?
The ordering is: sort by newest and you see only boards shared since the last patch. Individual boards are not rewritten when a minion gets rebalanced, though, so if a comp looks like it predates a change, check the patch diffs for the cards in it.
Do I need an account to share a comp?
No. Build the board, hit share, and you get a short URL. Publishing it to this page is one more click, and nothing asks you to sign up.

Looking up a card instead? Every minion in the pool, every hero and the hero tier list are all a click away, and the patch diffs show what changed underneath these comps.
